DISCLAIMER TO OLOMOPLENTY BLOG.
We have recently become aware of some videos circulating online on a Facebook page owned by Ewusi-Olomoplenty Obatula Darlington. These videos are said to have been live streamed in relation to a news article published by our online blog, “Celestial Prerogative News,” titled “M/S/E AJAO, M/S/E AKINDOYIN & V/S/E TOSHO OSHOFFA SENT TO ILE-IFE and another article written and titled “PASTOR’S WIFE! WHEN WILL YOU LEAD THE FEMALE MEMBERS IN PRAYER?”
It has come to our attention that Olomoplenty blog had discussed our publication on her show, but unfortunately, she did not accurately represent our core values, mission, and vision. We want to clarify to all Celestial members worldwide that we do not authorize or partner with Olomoplenty in any way, and she did not seek our permission to discuss our publications on her show. We do not condone disrespectful behaviour on our blog, and we will never support it. It is important to remember that while people are entitled to express their opinions, it should always be done in a respectful and moderate manner that does not infringe on the rights of others.
We acknowledge that everyone has the right to share and express their opinions with our Church administration. However, we will not tolerate any form of disrespect or derogatory language used on our elders in the Church. It is unacceptable to address an 83 & 80-year-old man as a “Monster.” As we never use any abusive language on those two Elders in our publication which was released on the 5th December 2024 at exactly 9:07pm. Since the inception of Celestial Prerogative News, we have had no association, connection, or communication with Olomoplenty blog.
Our coverage of the internal crisis in the Ife Region was intended to inform the general congregation of the church about the situation and work towards finding a lasting resolution. Similarly, the article about the Pastor’s wife aimed to encourage her in her responsibilities. Our main goal in publishing these pieces is not to bully or insult any members of the Church, regardless of their age, position, or ethnicity.
We urge the global congregation of Celestial Church of Christ to refrain from associating any of our publications with Olomoplenty blog, as we have never been affiliated with them or engaged in any discussions with them before now.
