A recent development at the World Headquarters, Imeko has brought to light the initiation of a potential coup d’état by unannounced Deputy Pastor, who also serves as a shepherd at CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos State. It appears that his primary objective is to create a sense of chaos within the ranks in order to strategically position his followers before executing a larger coup.
As previously reported on 20th February 2025, the Deputy Pastor had made attempts to remove certain individuals from their positions within the system, believing that they would impede his efforts to carry out a successful coup. The first phase of his plan was set in motion on 15th March 2025 with significant appointments being made. One individual, who had been a hindrance to the Deputy Pastor’s plans, was demoted from Taskforce Chairman to the position of Coordinator.
On 14th February 2025, a confrontation took place between A/M/S/E Adjovi and the Deputy Pastor regarding allegations of misconduct. The Deputy Pastor accused A/M/S/E Adjovi of attempting to undermine the Pastor by transferring a shepherd to CCC Omo Alademimo Parish, Lagos without proper authorization, as well as failing to remit monthly returns. A/M/S/E Adjovi vehemently denied these accusations and requested a thorough investigation by a 3-member panel. However, the Deputy Pastor rejected this request, leading to a tense and unresolved situation.
During a meeting convened at the Pastor’s residence in Imeko on 13th March 2025, the Personal Assistant to the Pastor, Evang Solomon Oshoffa voiced his concerns regarding the ongoing challenges impacting the church administration. He highlighted that certain individuals have been impeding the reconciliation process and resorting to blackmail in an attempt to silence others. In a subsequent meeting, the Deputy Pastor met with A/M/S/E Adjovi to address their differences. Despite concerted efforts to resolve the issue, the Deputy Pastor ultimately decided to replace A/M/S/E Adjovi with a former Commissioner of Police from Edo State two weeks ago.
A credible source has revealed that the Deputy Pastor accused A/M/S/E Adjovi of disloyalty to him and of obstructing the transfer some of his shepherds to different parishes nationwide. The decision to demote A/M/S/E Adjovi was deemed necessary to facilitate the seamless execution of plans. The appointment of the former Commissioner of Police as Chairman as the Church Task Force was made with the intention of quelling criticism online and to make arrest.
