Your love for the church and your commitment to serve others have shown us all what it means to reflect God’s image through our actions.
Today, we give thanks to Almighty God for the grace bestowed upon Late Baba Are, the former Shepherd of CCC Olowu Cathedral Lagos Island, who personally invested in your spiritual development. As we celebrate another year added to your life today, we reflect on the privilege of grace you received as a youth at CCC Makoko National Headquarters, before becoming a foundational member of CCC Akoka Cathedral, Lagos.
This day marks another year in your journey, and we honor the wisdom of Late Baba Erinle, who identified and nurtured the gifts of the Holy Spirit within you. Your formal education in Mechanical Engineering from Yaba College of Technology has added value to your role as a Shepherd, while the guidance of Late Rev AA Bada has deepened your theological knowledge through comparative studies of Church tenets and doctrines during your time at CCC Seminary School under Baba Orovboni’s leadership remain unchangeable.
We are grateful for the genuine presence of God in your life, especially when you relocate to the USA, where the Holy Spirit revealed to CCC Providence Parish in Rhode Island of the arrival of an individual who would elevate the Parish to divine standards. The detailed message delivered in 1993 about this individual’s characteristics and skills led to the selection of today’s Celebrant, A/V/S/E Festus Olusegun Bamidele Otele who currently lead the Parish – just as God chose Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

Nine days after his birthday in the year 2000, on the 27th of April 2000, A/V/S/E Otele stepped foot on American soil and joined CCC Providence Parish to continue his membership in Celestial Church of Christ. The prophetic declaration began to materialize through the tireless efforts of A/V/S/E Victor Adewusi, the current National Secretary of the USA Diocese who was & still a member of the Parish. Guided by spiritual insight, A/V/S/E Adewusi relentlessly encouraged A/V/S/E Otele to take on the role of a Shepherd, despite A/V/S/E Otele’s initial focus on providing for his family.
Under the visionary leadership of Shepherd A/V/S/E Festus Otele, CCC Providence Parish has been transforming the lives of unbelievers for the past 24 years & still counting. Working in harmony with the Parochial Committee of the Parish, led by Evangelist Rotimi Abegunde, the parish built a magnificent, state-of-the-art cathedral in Providence, the capital city of Rhode Island, New England, in 2013! This cathedral stands as a testament to unwavering faith and dedication to God’s purpose. It is a place where the power of God’s love continues to touch the lives of countless individuals, guiding them towards salvation.
