The 12 Apostles, also known as the 12 disciples were Jesus Christ’s closest followers. Following Jesus’ crucifixion, each of them emerged as key leaders in the development of Christianity, playing pivotal roles in spreading the gospel worldwide. This same model of devoted discipleship was evident in the early days of Celestial Church of Christ, where God handpicked loyal followers to support the assignment given to Rev Prophet SBJ Oshoffa.
One such devoted servant of God was Late Baba Olaniyan, who passed away on the 23rd August 2023 in Chicago, USA. In 1974, he became the pioneering force behind the establishment of the Church in Germany. Baba Olaniyan’s unwavering commitment to the Church’s mission in the Western world left an indelible mark on those who worshipped in Germany and Austria during the 1970s and 1980s. He was truly a shepherd, spreading the message and identity of the Church with passion and dedication.

On the 15th September 2024, Pastor Rev. EMF Oshoffa visited CCC Mother Parish, Munich, Germany to commemorate the 50th year of God’s mandates being sustained in Germany. The event was attended by members who had travelled from far and wide to celebrate this significant milestone. Parishes from France, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy, Malta, Turkey and other regions came together to partake in the spirit of unity.

During the ceremony, Late Baba Olaniyan was honoured with an award, which was accepted on his behalf by his son. The legacy of Baba Olaniyan continues to be felt, as current Church leaders in Germany strive to uphold the values instilled by God for the Church.
However, rumours began to circulate during Pastor Oshoffa’s visit to Munich, alleging that the Pastor’s wife had accused the Head of Germany of negligence. This sparked discussions and debates among attendees. Additionally, there were reports that the Head of Germany had been involved in an accident while making necessary arrangements for the event.
Despite these rumours, the overall atmosphere of the event was one of celebration and unity, as members came together to honour the enduring legacy of God’s mandates in Germany.
