Celestial Church of Christ has embraced the modern era, infusing our space with a breathtaking interior that truly reflects their profound worship to the creator of the universe. Just as King Solomon once constructed a magnificent temple as a testament to God’s glory, Celestial Church of Christ has now embarked on a journey to create a divine haven that will stand as a beacon of spiritual excellence.
Nestled in the heart of Ibadan, CCC Yemetu Archdiocese Parish proudly serves as the Mother Parish to countless others Parishes, boasting an impeccable record of administrative prowess. Since its establishment in 1963, this parish has held a special place in the heart of the Pastor Founder who recognized its pivotal role in the evolution of Celestial Church of Christ.
To ensure the continued fulfillment of their mission, CCC Yemetu Archdiocese Parish, Ibadan has embarked on a monumental endeavor: a grand reconstruction and renovation of their Parish.
The entire old slate roof structure has been replaced with a shiny new metal roofing, while the outdated plywood ceiling has been upgraded to a sleek and modern POP ceiling. Saying goodbye to the old incandescent lights, as they have been replaced with state-of-the-art LED lighting and recessed energy-efficient CFL lighting.
With the new metal roofing glistening under the sun, the POP ceiling adding a touch of elegance and the cutting-edge LED and CFL lighting illuminating every corner of the sanctuary this renovation has transformed the church building both inside and outside into a modern marvel.
It’s a testament to the power of collaboration and the unwavering spirit of all Yemetu members both at home and abroad, this initiative was spearhead and financed by the YEMETU @ 60 Anniversary Committee and Members in the USA and the UK, with additional tangible financial contributions and supervision by the elders at home.
The primary objective of this project is to establish an environment that fosters worship and provides a sense of security in the presence of God for the congregation. It is with great joy that the Parish announce their upcoming 60th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service of the Parish on November 12th, 2023. The Harvest will serve as a powerful symbol of faith rekindled and the reaffirmation of God’s purpose for the Parish.
