It was on the 9th of September 1984, the Pastor Founder, Pastor Rev SBJ Oshoffa, graced the 9th Years Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of CCC Omo Alade Parish 1, Bariga, Lagos. As the harvest service unfolded, heavy rain poured down, drenching the congregation. As Prophet SBJ Oshoffa prepared to depart, he made a stunning proclamation. He declared that heavy rain would always accompany any major activities of the Parish. In fact, he even predicted that if the Parish were to shift their harvest to January, heavy rain would still pour down.
Fast forward to the present day, the prophetic words of Pa SBJ Oshoffa still hold true. The Parish held Magnificent Musical Night toward the celebration of their 48th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service. And guess what? The heavens opened up once again, showering the night with a torrential downpour of rain.
The Musical Night was not a common event. It served as a joyous reunion for CCC Omo Alade Parishes from all corners of the globe. The atmosphere was electric, pulsating with the presence of enigmatic Gospel Artists who graced the stage, filling the night with the unique praise of God. It was a truly awe-inspiring experience.
The Shepherd V/S/E Tanpinu Noah in his passionate address urged the members to seize this Musical Night as an opportunity to forge a New Beginning with their destinies. It was a call to action, a chance to renegotiate their paths and embrace a brighter future. The Night of New Beginning was an absolute blast, and it was all thanks to the incredible Master of Ceremony S/S/P Babalola Olusola (The Parish Secretary). With his professional tone and expert control, he guided us all towards understanding the true significance of the special occasion.
Throughout the night, each departments in the Parish came together to express their immense gratitude to God. The Harvest Committee, Parochial Committee, Usher Department, Prophet/Prophetess Units, and the Youth Department all danced their hearts out showcasing their deep appreciation for the blessings in their lives.
But it wasn’t just the dancing that made the night unforgettable. The Host Choir took center stage, captivating the audience with their perfectly coordinated musical performance. Their harmonious voices and soul-stirring melodies truly set the stage for the New Beginning that awaited us.
CCC Ikorodu Parish, Lagos, CCC Itansan Parish, Lagos, CCC Abiodun Parish, Lagos, CCC Shomolu Parish, Lagos, CCC Government Layout Parish, Lagos, and C&S Movement Odi-Olowo all brought their own unique flair to the event. They breathed new life into oldies melodic lyrics and combined them with the infectious rhythms of African percussion creating an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration.
As if that wasn’t enough, the night also treated to breathtaking solo performances by Tosin Emmanuel and Ola Liberty. Their incredible talent and passion reaffirmed the Night of New Beginning as a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, the Night of New Beginning was a night to remember.
