Celestial Church of Christ, Oluwa Olubukun Cathedral, Special District, is set to host its 13th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service alongside the official launching of its Cathedral Project on Sunday, 11th October 2026.
The highly anticipated spiritual gathering will take place at the church’s premises located at Road 18, Plot 22 and 23, Peace Estate, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos State. The celebration is expected to bring together worshippers, church leaders, invited guests, families and well-wishers to give thanks to God for His faithfulness while supporting the vision of the proposed cathedral development.
The theme for this year’s Adult Harvest Thanksgiving is “Harvest of Glorious Manifestation,” drawn from 2 Chronicles 7:1–3. The biblical passage recounts the manifestation of God’s glory following Solomon’s prayer and the dedication of the temple, when fire came down from heaven and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
LAUNCHING OF THE CATHEDRAL PROJECT
A major highlight of the programme will be the launching of the proposed Cathedral Project, which is expected to mark an important milestone in the development aspirations of Oluwa Olubukun Cathedral.
The project represents a vision for a befitting place of worship that can serve the spiritual needs of the congregation and accommodate the anticipated growth of the church in the years ahead.
The launching is also expected to provide an opportunity for members, families, philanthropists, friends of the church and other well-wishers to demonstrate their commitment to the development of God’s work through financial contributions, pledges and other forms of support.
