Celestial Church of Christ family across the United Kingdom, Nigeria and beyond will gather on Sunday, 14th June 2026, at CCC Rehoboth Family Parish, 36 Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, SS6 7JQ, United Kingdom, to celebrate a remarkable milestone in the life of a distinguished servant of God, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Solomon Adepetu, as he marks his 80th birthday.
Reaching the age of eighty is a rare privilege. Reaching it while remaining relevant in the service of God, impactful in leadership, and respected across continents is even more extraordinary. AMSE Solomon Adepetu belongs to that special category of church leaders whose lives have become living testimonies of dedication, humility, perseverance and unwavering commitment to the Church. For many decades, he has faithfully served the Church in various capacities, contributing significantly to the spiritual growth and administrative development of the Celestial fold both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Before relocating to the United Kingdom, AMSE Solomon Adepetu distinguished himself as a devoted worker in the vineyard of God. He served as a Woli Leader at CCC Olowu Cathedral, Lagos Island, where he became known for his spiritual discipline, commitment to evangelism and dedication to the development of the prophetic ministry.
His passion for the work of God later earned him greater responsibilities when he was appointed Shepherd of CCC Orile Cathedral, Orile, Lagos State. During his tenure, he provided spiritual leadership, nurtured members in the faith and contributed immensely to the growth and stability of the parish.
As a result of his proven leadership qualities and spiritual maturity, he was subsequently elevated and transferred to serve as State Evangelist in the Northern Region, overseeing the church activities across Abuja, Kwara and Kogi States. This assignment demonstrated the confidence reposed in him by the Church hierarchy and further expanded his influence within the Celestial movement.
His years in Northern Nigeria were marked by evangelistic outreach, church planting efforts, leadership development and the strengthening of existing parishes. Through his ministry, many members were encouraged to remain steadfast in the faith despite numerous challenges.
Upon settling in the United Kingdom, AMSE Solomon Adepetu continued his lifelong commitment to the church. Rather than slowing down, he became one of the respected senior evangelists helping to strengthen the Church’s presence and administration within the UK Diocese.
Public records show that he served as a Director of CCC Luli Central Parish UK between 2007 and 2020, reflecting his active involvement in church governance and administration over many years. Within the UK Diocese, he has earned widespread recognition as one of the experienced spiritual fathers whose counsel and leadership have positively impacted numerous parishes and church workers.
In 2024, the Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa publicly appointed him as Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Solomon Adepetu, as his affectionately known as “Woli FADA,” serving as Superintendent for Central and West London within the CCC UK Diocese. He accompanied the Head of the UK Diocese on official diocesan assignments, reflecting his continued importance within the leadership structure of the Church. One of the qualities that distinguishes AMSE Solomon Adepetu is his humility. Despite occupying significant leadership positions over the years, he has remained approachable, fatherly and committed to the spiritual welfare of members.
