It was a moment of spiritual significance and joyous celebration on Sunday, 22nd February 2026, as Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa was honoured at Celestial Church of Christ Beulah Parish, Ubogo, Warri, Delta State. The special presentation of an award of honour was witnessed by distinguished shepherds in the fold, including VSE Babalola, the Regional Head of Warri, alongside Elders, and a vibrant congregation who gathered to celebrate grace, service, and prophetic impact within the fold of the Church.
A Sermon on “obedience in god’s presence” as the guest minister of the day, Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa delivered a powerful and spiritually uplifting sermon centered on the theme: “THE SIGNIFICANCE OF GRACE IN OBEDIENCE IN GOD’S PRESENCE.” He emphasized that obedience remains the foundational key to enjoying divine grace and sustaining relevance in God’s vineyard. According to him, many are gifted, but only those who walk in total obedience to God’s instructions remain vessels of honour. He reminded the congregation that: “Grace flourishes where obedience is absolute. In God’s presence, partial obedience is disobedience.”
His message stirred deep reflection among members, calling the Church back to unwavering submission to God’s will, humility in service, and consistency in righteous living.
Acknowledging Prophet Jerry Asiava’s Impact in a remarkable display of humility and brotherly love, Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa publicly acknowledged the tremendous efforts of the Host Shepherd, Prophet Jerry Asiava, whom he described as a committed servant of God through whom the Lord has been propagating His work in Warri region and beyond.
He commended Prophet Asiava’s dedication to evangelism, prophetic ministry, and the steady spiritual growth of the parish. He noted that the transformation and vibrancy witnessed in Beulah Parish are clear testimonies of divine backing upon the Shepherd’s calling. Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa also extended heartfelt appreciation to the Parish Elders, the Women’s, the Choir, and the entire congregation for finding him worthy of such honour. He described the award not merely as a personal recognition but as a call to greater responsibility in advancing the gospel of salvation.
In his words, he reaffirmed his commitment: “This honour strengthens my resolve to continue proclaiming the message of salvation to the ends of the earth. The work of God must advance, and we must remain faithful vessels.”
The event reflected unity within the body of Christ, mutual respect among Church leaders, and a shared commitment to the mission of soul-winning. The presence of the Regional Head, VSE Babalola, further underscored the significance of the occasion within the Warri Region. Indeed, the 22nd of February 2026 will remain memorable in the history of CCC Beulah Parish, Ubogo, Warri, a day when grace was celebrated, obedience was preached, and prophetic impact was publicly acknowledged. May the good work that God has begun in His Church continue to flourish for generations to come.
