It was a moment of joy, reflection, and renewed hope at the residence of Most Superior Evangelist Samson Olatunji Banjo, the Doyen of CCC Worldwide and a Member of the Registered Board of Trustees, on 3rd January 2026, as he warmly hosted church members, associates, and family members to usher in the New Year 2026.
The atmosphere was filled with thanksgiving and spiritual reassurance as Church Elder addressed those present. In his heartfelt charge, M/S/E S.O. Banjo acknowledged that the Church is presently passing through challenging times. However, he firmly encouraged members not to lose faith or hope.
According to the Doyen, the current storm confronting the Church is temporary, stressing that God does not plan division, bitterness, confusion, or negative thoughts for His Church. He reminded the gathering that trials often precede divine intervention, restoration, and greater unity.
He urged members of the Church worldwide to remain steadfast in faith, uphold love, patience, and prayer, and resist all forms of bitterness and despair. With confidence rooted in spiritual conviction, M/S/E S.O. Banjo declared that the storm will soon be over, and the Church will emerge stronger, more united, and spiritually renewed.
The gathering marked not just the beginning of a new calendar year, but also a renewed call to trust God’s purpose for the Celestial Church of Christ, holding fast to peace, reconciliation, and divine direction as 2026 unfolds.
