The Church authority has once again shoulder down another load of duties to members by introducing a nominal fee of #1500 for the upcoming 2024/2025 anointment exercise. This fee is intended to support the charitable foundation, C.E Emmanuel Foundation, established by Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa and his wife, M/C Celine Oshoffa.
It is a well-known fact that every charitable foundation is funded through the vision and goodwill of the individuals managing such foundations. In Nigeria, various foundations are managed by Pastors, such as The ‘Heart Of Love’ Foundation, an organization funded by Pastor Folu Adeboye, the wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel, operates a social outreach arm, the David Oyedepo Foundation. Additionally, Pastor Tunde Bakare, the senior Pastor of the Citadel Global Community Church (formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly), manages a charity foundation through the Latter Rain Foundation.
Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, oversees a charitable arm known as the Daystar Christian Centre Benevolence Fund. Similarly, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, manages a welfare arm called the Deeper Life Welfare Scheme.
Neither of these Pastors burdens their congregation with the financial responsibilities of their charitable foundations. It is worth noting that the Biliewu Oshoffa Foundation, which covers the family of the pastor founder, has not been included in the annual anointment exercise.
It is recommended that Pastor utilize his influence and resources to support the C.E. Emmanuel Foundation rather than relying solely on their members for funding. Those proposing the addition of a charity foundation to the anointment exercise should also consider the legal implications. If the C.E. Emmanuel Foundation is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a non-profit organization raising funds through a religious entity could potentially be deemed illegal.
We at Prerogative News Online are not against the Pastor and his wife or individuals managing the foundations but to tred carefully. A word is enough for the wise one.

You’ve always been against the Pastor & his wife.
