The Central Choir of Celestial Church of Christ in the United States of America will be honouring the musical legacy of the late Gospel veteran, Superior Evangelist Steve Pelemoh BroBro (1950-2024), who dedicated his life to the advancement of music within Celestial Church of Christ.
Late Superior Evangelist Steve Pelemoh BroBro’s journey began at the National Headquarters of the Church in Mokoko, Lagos State, where he played a pivotal role in the development of Celestial Church of Christ music. He tirelessly worked with choir masters, fostering individual creativity and skill within the unique musical context of the Church.
Both Directors of Central Choir A/V/S/E, Oluwakayomide Olugbenga Samuel Oladimeji & Superior Evangelist Sola Omole has officially confirmed that the upcoming song of service will be held at CCC St. Michael Parish, located at 6920 S. Harper Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637 on the 6th August 2024, at 6pm. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging and preserving the legacy of Late Superior Evangelist BroBro, who dedicated his life to Celestial Church of Christ music.
While A/V/S/E Oluwakayomide Olugbenga Samuel Oladimeji & Superior Evangelist Sola Omole expressed their team’s readiness and commitment to honouring Late Superior Evangelist BroBro’s memory, highlighting his unwavering dedication, love, and support for the church’s music. He also mentioned that the Central Choir in the USA had previously invited Late BroBro to the country few years ago during the harvest season, allowing parishes to experience the uplifting and pure gospel lyrics he shared.
In a similar vein, Superior Evangelist Dr. Rotimi Olasebikan, the Central Choir Director Worldwide, currently in the USA recognized the profound impact of late Superior Evangelist Steve Pelemoh BroBro. Superior Evangelist Dr. Olasebikan credited him as a man who truly grasped the essence of Gospel music. He also expressed the Central Choir’s commitment to upholding the gospel evangelism legacy of late Superior Evangelist Steve Pelemoh BroBro. A Night of Tribute is being organized in his honor in Nigeria, and Superior Evangelist Dr. Olasebikan will also be in attendance at CCC St. Michael Parish in Chicago, USA on the 6th August 2024.
