1. Content Standards
- Relevance: Advertisements should be relevant to our audience, primarily consisting of CCC members and those interested in faith-based, cultural, and community topics.
- Accuracy: All claims must be accurate and verifiable. Misleading, exaggerated, or false claims are prohibited.
- Respect for Values: Advertising content should align with the values and beliefs of the CCC community, avoiding any content that could be seen as disrespectful or insensitive.
- Transparency: Clearly disclose any partnerships, sponsorships, or affiliations within the ad content if applicable.
2. Ad Types and Specifications
- Display Ads: Images should be of high resolution (72 dpi minimum), with standard sizes like banners (728×90), skyscrapers (160×600), and rectangles (300×250).
- Video Ads: Must be high-quality, with a maximum duration of 30 seconds for standard placements. Videos should include captions and be no larger than 100 MB.
- Sponsored Content: Articles or branded content should be informative and valuable to our readers, clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Paid Content.”
- Native Ads: Should blend with the site’s design and tone but still be distinguishable from editorial content.
- Email Ads: Images and copy must be formatted to fit email specifications and optimized for mobile readability.
3. Prohibited Content
- Sensitive Topics: Ads containing adult content, hate speech, violence, or discriminatory language are strictly prohibited.
- Political and Religious Endorsements: Political and religious endorsements must align with CCC values and avoid divisive language.
- Misleading Practices: Any attempt to mislead our audience through “clickbait” headlines, fake news, or bait-and-switch tactics is not allowed.
- Inappropriate or Offensive Content: Content that could be interpreted as offensive, including negative religious, cultural, or racial connotations, will not be accepted.
