A court of competent jurisdiction in Washington D.C USA has dismissed a case filed by a member of Celestial Church of Christ Metropolitan Archdiocese Parish National Headquarters USA. The suit, brought by Superior Evangelist Hassan against V/S/E Balogun, V/S/E Homer Williams, V/S/E koiki, H/E Patrick Moseh & Sister Sharon was thrown out on the grounds that it lacked merit for consideration in court. The Judge determined that the plaintiff failed to provide sufficient evidence to support his allegations of abuse and defamation of character.
The plaintiff has filed a request for the court to approve his claim for a fine of 5 million dollars to be paid by the five defendants he encountered during a dispute at the Parish. It is known that the Parish has been experiencing unrest due to conflicting interests from various parties within the Parish. However, recent developments indicate that discipline, accountability, openness and unity are beginning to return to the Parish as the majority of Parishioners work towards reconciling their differences.
The plaintiff has brought a case before the court, requesting that the three defendants be charged with libel. The plaintiff claims that he was falsely accused of disruption of service, sexual assault and removal as a Parish shepherd with a letter from the Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa dated 21st November 2022. In response, one of the defendants spoke in court and presented evidence that a lady had reported the plaintiff to the Parochial Committee of the Parish during a visit to her house at odd hours, which resulted in an assault. The Parochial Committee, under the Constitution of Celestial Church of Christ has the right to investigate such allegations. Additionally, the defendant informed the court that the plaintiff had taken over the service, preventing members from freely associating and worshiping. It was also revealed that the World Headquarters of the Church had never assigned him to the CCC Metropolitan Archdiocese in Washington DC, USA.
Furthermore, a female member in the USA is reportedly collaborating closely with the Pastor’s Office to restore the authenticity of the Parish to its original state when it was established in 1975. The Parish was founded with the purpose of promoting the positive manifestation of God, and efforts are being made to uphold this mission. Overall, the Parish is making strides towards resolving internal conflicts and returning to its core values.
