Same manifestation of God’s presence is about to happen at CCC Government Layout Cathedral, located at 15 Lanre Awolokun street ,Gbagada phase 2 , Mafowoku Bus stop Gbagada, Lagos state . As the theme for their 42nd annual Adult Harvest is tagged “ HARVEST OF SURPLUS”. Despite the hardship and scarcity in the nation and entire world , the church was given a prophetic theme for this year’s harvest as surpluses.
The Sunday Glorious Service on 1st September 2024 was truly a divine experience filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Parishioners came together to express their deep love and witness a significant event that further intensified the parish’s mission as a gathering of people with a spirit of evangelism, spreading the message to deliver the world from backwardness to a stage of abundance surplus.
The Parish Shepherd, V/S/E John Ajayi Omonehin who also serves as the Head Prophet & Prophetesses of Lagos State truly justified the harvest theme as a special gift to the Parish. He passionately charged members to quickly embrace the path of God’s abundance, promising that it will lead to progress and fulfilment in their lives.
Evangelist Chris A . Ogbaisi who also is the Harvest Patron addressed the parishioner to identify with this prophetic theme “Harvest of Surplus” He emphasized in his message the significance of this theme “ Surplus “ which can only manifest in the lives of those who believe and obey God in celestial church of Christ . He further assured members of God’s presence in this church and only way to benefit from this year’s theme is to be in oneness , walk in holiness and most importantly foster unity among ourselves . Making reference to our hymn CCC 731 stanza 4 “ Efi iwa mimo ati ife sin oba wa ari nu rode”.
Evangelist Chris A . Ogbaisi speaking to the congregationIt was an electrifying and inspiring declaration that left the parish all feel motivated and excited for the future.
