A member recently made a Thanksgiving offering with pepper items at CCC Ibukunoluwa Parish in Ajah, Lagos State has generating a sparking controversial opinion among church members. The picture of this unique offering has generated various views on social media platforms.
The burning question on everyone’s mind is: “Are peppers allowed inside the sanctuary of the Celestial Church of Christ?” This unanswerable question has sparked a lively debate among Prophet Victor Olaore Omoshehin, Evangelist Segun Glorious and VSE Femi Eromosele Gabriel Obinyan & others. They have been passionately discussing various observations, including biblical concepts, to justify their claims. Additionally, they have been using the doctrinal practices of the Church to ensure their beliefs are in line with the teachings followed by their followers.
It is a well-known fact that the Church is a devout Christian organization. The Pastor Founder was given strict instructions to guide the affairs of salvation, which have become the cornerstone of the Church’s mission.
In good faith, Celestial Church of Christ follows these guidelines as the Israelites followed God’s guidance in the wilderness. However, these instructions have not been effectively managed, and we struggle to uphold the laws within our comfort zone.
The behaviour exhibited at CCC Ibukunoluwa Parish in Ajah, Lagos State should be unequivocally condemned, as it lacks any justifiable reasons within the framework of the Church’s fundamental principles.
It is imperative that we revaluate our approach and strive to better adhere to the principles set forth by the Pastor Founder. Only then can we truly embody the values of the Church and fulfill our mission of spreading the message of salvation.
