Our distinctive garments are not just a fashion statement, but a symbol of our dedication to God. When we dress in our unique attire, we are glorifying God and showcasing our commitment to our faith. These garments serve as a set of guidelines for both men and women, which we must adhere to faithfully.
Unfortunately, there are some individuals within our Church who are not upholding the true definition of our beliefs, instead abusing the rules that govern our code of dress. One such example is Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa the Pastor’s wife, who was seen at the 73rd Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service of CCC National Headquarters in Makoko, Lagos on August 4th, 2024 wearing a garment with the lace incorrectly placed.
It is disheartening to see such a blatant disregard for the established laws of our Church. The Pastor’s wife should be setting an example for the congregation, not flouting the basic principles that guide us. Additionally, there have been reports of her wearing a four-cornered garment, despite not being a prophetess. This goes against the longstanding tradition of only prophets and prophetesses wearing such attire, a rule that has been emphasized by our Elders for years.
Let us embrace our doctrine with enthusiasm and reverence, knowing that by following these teachings, we are honouring God and strengthening our spiritual connection. We should strive to follow the guidelines set forth by our Pastor Founder and show respect for our basic ordinance.
