The meeting, scheduled for 11am, faced delays as the spiritual head of the Church was unavailable. It eventually commenced around 3pm, causing inconvenience for clergy members who had traveled from afar. Unfortunately, the meeting did not fully achieve its primary objective of discussing the restructuring of the state Evangelists structure into a regional form of government.
However, during the meeting, it was announced that Spokesman of the Church, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala would serve as the coordinator of the regional heads. This decision was communicated through a statement read by Superior Evangelist Ajala, leaving attendees uncertain about the appointment of a Spokesman to oversee the submission of monthly records by the Regional Heads to the Pastor, when 4 Most Superior Evangelist was left outside the box.
Moving forward, it is imperative that future meetings should be conducted in a timely manner and with clear communication to ensure the effective functioning of the Church’s leadership structure, while the Pastor should put the primary responsibility of his duties in allowing important meeting putting into consideration the risk of road network in the country for clergies who travelled down to Lagos.
