As the Church worldwide celebrated the Juvenile Harvest, attention was drawn to the various parishes where children commemorated the occasion with gratitude and joy. However, one parish in Lagos stood out for all the wrong reasons. This particular parish chose to reject God’s instructions by deviating from the fundamental ordinances set by the Pastor Founder. Their Juvenile Harvest event was conducted in a manner that blatantly contradicted the Church’s established policies.
CCC Delight Model Parish, located at Loshoro Cele Yoruba School Gate in Ajah Ijebu Lekki, Lagos made the decision to dress their children with amure (loins) after series of enlightenments aimed at educating the general congregation on abiding by the provisions of the Church laws for Juvenile Harvest.
However, instead of adhering to the right path, the parish was observed posting pictures on social media of female children wearing amure (loins), which is considered an abuse by true Celestial members who follow the Church’s teachings. It is a known fact that the Church authority lacks the necessary legitimacy to impose sanctions, but we advocate for a church where members willingly take responsibility for matters concerning the foundation of the Church, for the benefit of future generations.
