On the 2nd of June 2024, the children will lead and participate in all activities of the day, following God’s guidance. This day will continue to mark a significant milestone in the Church’s future, as the children who will shape the destiny of the Church actively engage in the Juvenile Harvest celebrations.
Prior to the Juvenile Harvest, the Church commemorated the covenant of God with the Pastor Founder Rev SBJ Oshoffa, which took place on the 23rd of May 1947 at Godrokpa village in Benin Republic. However, this significant day went unnoticed and unrecognized by the Pastor’s Office, as the Pastor was occupied with a pastoral visitation in South Africa. The visitation strength the crisis within the South Africa Diocese where a substantive Head of Diocese was unexpectedly removed without prior notification, leading to controversy due to the divide and rule tactics being implemented by the Pastor.
Members of the Church have expressed skepticism regarding whether the Pastor will release a short video to honor the children of the Church on their special day and also worship with children at either CCC International Headquarters Ketu or CCC National Headquarters, Makoko Lagos. There is concern that the Church may once again experience a day of silence, similar to 23rd of May 2024, when the Pastor failed to acknowledge the day’s significant impact on the history of our beloved church.
