Welcome to the 7th biennial National Convention of the Celestial Church of Christ, USA Diocese! We hope that the information detailed below will keep you organized as you travel to Indianapolis, Indiana.
Venue of the convention
The 2024 USA Diocese Biennial Convention will be held at Indiana Marriott East, Indianapolis, Indiana, on 16-19, 2024. The address is 7202 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219, USA.
Local Transportation
The Convention Committee will provide airport transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. Participants may choose to organize their transportation or contact the logistics team to schedule pick up time at +1-646-639-2284 (Alagba Akinyemi Akintola) or +1-317-361-6944 (Alagba Muri Oke)
Accommodation
Arrangements are made for participants to be accommodated at Indianapolis Marriott East and Candlewood Suites. Upon arrival, please go to the front desk to check in. Your credit card information will be requested to charge any incidentals. Check-in is at 4 pm, if you arrive before check-in time, you will be given a room if there is a clean and ready room. Check-out time is 11 am, if you anticipate checking out after 11 am, please notify the secretariat team. Charges from room service and independent meals are solely the participant’s responsibility.

Registration Table and Convention Package
The registration table will be in the Lobby in front of Liberty Hall between noon and 3.00 pm on Thursday 16th May 2024. Early registration will be arranged for shepherds and church workers between 8.00 am and 10.00 am if needed. All registrants will be requested to confirm their names before the secretariat team gives out name tags and convention bags.
Internet and Printing
Free wireless internet access will be available in the meeting rooms. Participants staying at the designated hotels are entitled to complimentary internet connection in their rooms. Printing, photocopying, and other computer services are available at the hotel for a fee. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops and gadgets.
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner will be provided by the organizing committee of the convention. Water is stationed in the halls and foyer and please come with a refillable water bottle.
Working Language
The working language of the convention will be English. No translation will be provided in Yoruba or French.
General Information:
The temperature in Indianapolis for May from 16-19 is forecasted to be about 79F – 85F. it is advisable to come with light jackets, or shawls if you would like to take evening walks.
Local time in Indianapolis is Eastern Daylight Time, and the time zone is UTC/GMT-4 hours.
