Over the past few months, the Pastor’s Office has consistently repeated a message that the congregation not to dress in elaborate attire, as the Holy Spirit desires to see all members in humble Brother and Sister garments as a sign of seeking forgiveness from God.
It is evident that our Church is facing challenges in terms of its administrative system. The internal crisis has led to lack of direction and even legal disputes, jeopardizing the future of the Church.
If we continue to ignore the need for reconciliation and unity as Christians, we will continue to receive messages to wear Brother and Sister garments, as we cannot deceive GOD. Only through genuine reconciliation with all parties involved, including the Pastor will see a complete accomplishment of God purpose of the Church.
we hope to see the transformation that has been lacking due to differing views on Church management in our Church?
During his 38-year tenure, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa only once requested that members refrain from wearing their full regalia, during his final convocation in December 1984 at Imeko, Ogun State. The Pastor Founder explained that upon entering the auditorium, he was met with a sea of white garments. This directive was not issued during the leadership of Late Rev. AA Bada and Rev. P.H. Ajose.
From December 2002 to August 2023, Rev. EMF Oshoffa also did not receive any reports of garment-related issues. However, within a span of less than 9 months, the message was repeatedly conveyed to the Church, indicating a potential underlying problem.
The Pastor’s Office has recognized that there are significant issues within the Church that have been overlooked, while outwardly portraying that all is well. It has become evident that certain individuals have been exploiting the system. It is imperative that the Pastor be fully informed of the current state of the Church’s affairs and that genuine efforts towards reconciliation be implemented within a one-month timeframe.
We want to see our Church back on positive track.
