Just like military and pre-military personnel, we must follow the dress code in accordance with the rules laid out for us. Officers are required to dress as the laws dictate, and similarly, Celestial Church has specific guidelines for dress code that members must adhere to if they have been approved for certain ranks.
Unfortunately, on the 7th of April 2024, the Spokesman of the Church preached at CCC Calvary Parish in Lagos while violating the laws governing the Church’s dress code. The Spokesman wore a Special Most Senior Evangelist rank on that day, which is reserved for non-clergy members. While his approved rank is Superior Evangelist and if he want to dress as Most Senior Evangelist, his dressing & crossbar violated his anointment rank.
The Superior Evangelist is expected to adhere to a certain standard of dress, in line with their clergy rank. It is important that they do not wear attire that is not approved for clergy while holding the title of Superior Evangelist. As a member of the Pastor in Council, Kayode Ajala should be tasked with interpreting the Church’s basic ordinances, rather than abusing Church laws.
It is crucial to note that the title of Superior Evangelist is reserved for clergy, while Special Superior Evangelist is designated for non-clergy. We urge the Church authority to provide education and guidance to those working with the Pastor, ensuring they comply with the Church laws in all matters.
