Just as the Israelites gained freedom from the Egyptians, Shepherds, Church Workers and worshippers of the Church in United Kingdom had also breaking free from authoritarian styles of leadership. The symbolic act of washing feet signifies a renewal of humility, love and justification of Jesus Christ teaching, while it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of servant leadership and the value of coming together in fellowship.
Under the leadership of V/S/E Boladale Olaleye, the United Kingdom & Northern Ireland Diocese experienced a remarkable transformation during the washing of feet due to a divine visitation of the Holy Spirit. V/S/E Olaleye delivered a powerful sermon on the significance of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice as a means to achieve breakthrough, deliverance and positive manifestation.
Following the sermon, the Shepherds participated in a symbolic act of humility by washing their feet at the National Headquarters Parish. The event marked a significant shift in the atmosphere, with worshippers embracing the leadership of the UK/NI Diocese.
The decision of the first Parish in Europe to align with the rebuild and restructuring efforts of the Church in the United Kingdom signifies a new chapter in the Church’s journey. As other Parishes follow suit and announce their alliance with the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland Diocese, a sense of unity and purpose is palpable among the faithful.
