Unfortunately, the current Pastor in Council members have neglected their duties. They have turned a blind eye to the abuse of Church doctrine, which goes against the teachings of the Church’s Founder.
On March 3, 2024, a Pastor in Council member and factional leader in the United Kingdom in person of M/S/E Fastusi called the London Police to CCC Harton Street Parish, National Headquarters, London. They attempted to forcefully install a new Shepherd while M/S/E Fastusi, a member of the Pastor in Council sat on the altar showed as the police officers disrespectfully wore their shoes and caps, interrupt a Sunday service to deliver the Pastor’s orders.
In a disgraceful press statement released by M/S/E Fastusi media teams, another Pastor in Council member, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala posted the reprehensible statement on the Church official website, which stated that …..
The Head of Diocese and his entourage entered the premises during the Processional Hymn (Jeri Mo Yamah). After the bowing of head, prayer of forgiveness and sanctification and the Lord’s Prayer, the Head of the C.C.C. UK Diocese, MSE A.O. Fatusin JP MPIC, requested for the microphone from the Service Conductor and announced the purpose of the Diocesan visit which was “to read the Pastoral Order to the congregation and to notify the church that the current Shepherd, VSE Bayo King, had been withdrawn, and that a replacement Shepherd, VSE Taiwo John, had been appointed”. He then handed over the microphone to the Secretary of the Diocese, AVSE Charles Wusu, to read the letters issued by the Pastor to that effect.
The statement clearly Indicates that M/S/E Fastusi ceased the service, why expecting the Pastor in Council to promptly address the misdeeds and wrongdoings of a senior clergy member in accordance with Church laws, the Committee chose to remain silent on the matter. This silence from the Pastor in Council suggests that every member of the Church has the right to act against the principles of Church laws.
The Pastor in Council should tell us that it's appropriate to stop a service after reducing of Psalm 51 to deliver God message?
The Pastor In Council’s silence implies that the Pastor’s message is considered more important than God’s instructions. The abuse at CCC Harton Street Parish in London persisted, with M/S/E Fastusi leading another group of Police Officers to lock up the Parish on March 13, 2024. There action successfully resulted in the closure of the first Celestial Church of Christ in the United Kingdom and Europe.
As one member of the Pastor in Council, M/S/E Fastusi disrupted a Sunday Glorious Service, another member of the Pastor in Council Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala publicized the incident on the Church’s official website. This behavior is a blatant insult to the tireless efforts of Rev SBJ Oshoffa, Rev AA Bada, Rev H.P Ajose Sup/Evang Ajanlekoko and others who as slept in the Lord.
As the Church’s leadership continues to deteriorate, it would be advisable for genuine members of the Pastor in Council to consider resigning to avoid potential repercussions from God due to their silence and lackadaisical approach to the growth of a 76-year-old Church.
