Recently, I had the privilege of watching the full video of the meeting between the registered BOT and the Pastor, which was convened by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence on January 11th, 2021. While I had previously seen short clips of some of the discussions, the complete four-hour video provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the events that unfolded within the Church.
I attentively listened to the presentations made by each individual who spoke during the meeting, gaining a true understanding of the circumstances that led to the crisis and the reasons why some elders desired the registered BOT to step down. The video also exposed the hidden agendas of certain individuals within the Church. I witnessed direct questions being asked without any substantiating evidence to support the answers provided. I must commend Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa for her courage in this regard.
I would also like to acknowledge the late Baba Toriola for his response to M/S/E Banjo’s question in the presence of the Pastor and President Obasanjo. May God forgive the late Most Superior Evangelist for his actions has presented to him by M/S/E Banjo. Furthermore, the video revealed the names of individuals who signed on the COVID-19 palliatives and approved the donations to the Government. It also shed light on those responsible for discontinuing the provision of gifts to shepherds within the Church.
The video serves as a crucial piece of evidence highlighting the crisis within the Church, particularly concerning the leadership of Rev EMF Oshoffa. The Pastor openly acknowledged the existence of evidence without providing any concrete facts. I observed President Olusegun Obasanjo’s response to the audio voice of Benjamin Obasanjo, and it is evident that Benjamin Obasanjo was fortunate to have not attended the meeting.
The video elucidates the significant role played by CCC Makoko National Headquarters in Lagos, showcasing their courageous and fearless nature. It became clear to me why certain influential individuals, referred to as “cabals” would never want Pastor EMF Oshoffa to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that was agreed upon during the meeting. I witnessed two Elders who expressed views aligned with the Pastor’s, while the response from M/S/E Banjo reaffirmed his unwavering perspective. Various ideas were presented to the Pastor with the aim of propelling the Church forward.
Furthermore, I proceeded to watch the complete video of the Press briefing held on the 6th of March 2021 at CCC Makoko National Headquarters Parish in Lagos, which took place 54 days after the meeting in Abekouta. During the briefing, I understand why the Pastor announced the dissolution of the registered Board of Trustees (BOT) without fulfilling the agreement reached on the 11th of January 2021.
The five-hour video shed light on the mismanagement of funds within the Church. The Makoko presentation provided a comprehensive analysis of the Church’s funds in Zenith Bank and UBA Bank including two domiciliary accounts.
I have come across various accounts that discuss how an individual invested his salary and made a profit of 180 million naira, with an additional 47 million naira in benefits. It also come to my attention how a subcommittee had control over 17 million naira, which goes against the provisions outlined in section 155 (iii) of the Church Constitution.
Interestingly, Tony Elumelu, the chairman of UBA) and Ovia (Zenith Bank Owner) have been consistently benefiting from the Church funds under their control since January 2021, without any interest being generated. This raises concerns about the management of church finances.
In light of these revelations, it is crucial for the shepherds to seek forgiveness from God for the accusations leveled against Pius Olarewaju regarding the stipends planned to be given to them. The Executive of Shepherd Council has taken center stage in all matters, overshadowing the needs of the shepherds.
Upon viewing the videos of January 11th, 2021 and March 6th, 2021, it becomes evident that there are significant shortcomings in our Church administration. As a result, I feel compelled to publicly apologize to Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju and Most Superior Evangelist Olutunji Banjo for any negative comments I may have made.
Once again, I extend my deepest apologies to Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju and all members of the registered BOT for any misunderstandings or misrepresentations that may have arisen from my previous posts. I am grateful for the opportunity to have gained a more comprehensive understanding of the situation.
