However, the upcoming visit scheduled for September 8th, 2023, has been marred by controversy due to the attempts made by the Head of Diocese, MSE Fatusin, to prevent genuine members from meeting with the pastor. It is evident that the HOD has a hidden agenda aiming to create an atmosphere where the pastor will be kept outside the jurisdiction of members who previously had access to him.
This situation raises concerns about the integrity of the diocese’s leadership and their commitment to fostering a strong and inclusive structure. It is crucial to address these issues and ensure that all church members have equal opportunities to engage with the pastor and seek spiritual guidance from him.
The visitation by the Pastor will play a crucial role in determining the future of the UK Diocese given the serious accusations levelled against the Head of Diocese (HOD) MSE Fastuin. It is worth noting that the HOD has not publicly denied any of these allegations. Both Deputy HODs, along with the Diocese Secretary, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the HOD’s leadership style. Furthermore, three Executive members have distanced themselves from the authoritarian approach employed by the HOD.
The unrest within the Diocese has led to an uncontrollable state of misunderstanding as the Pastor lacks comprehensive information regarding the Diocese’s leadership. It is evident that the Pastor’s subordinates have taken advantage of his health issues to act contrary to his wishes. Additionally, the appointed representative of the Pastor has exploited this situation to implement policies without the Pastor’s consent.
It Is imperative that the Pastor be granted the opportunity to meet with any member he had previously promised to meet upon his arrival in the UK. The Church belongs to everyone and no individual should be desperate to cling onto their position against the wishes of the members of Celestial Church of Christ in the United Kingdom.
In conclusion, it is imperative for the diocese to uphold transparency, accountability, and fairness in all matters concerning the pastor’s visit and the accessibility of church members.
