The Bible recounts how Jesus Christ was arrested by the oppressors who sought to destroy his message of deliverance for humanity. However, their plans ultimately failed, as the resurrection of Jesus Christ triumphed over their collective efforts. The covenant of faith stood strong, defying the oppressor’s intentions.
In the history of our Church, the Pastor founder, Reverend SBJ Oshoffa, also faced a similar situation at the Republic of Benin during the early days of the Church’s establishment. He was arrested for preaching the gospel through the new Church called “ Celestial Church of Christ”, which was seen as a threat by the oppressor. However, the strength of the Church and the power of the Holy Spirit intervened. The officer in charge of the Pastor Founder’s detention suddenly experienced unknown health challenges, leading to his unconditional release.
Unfortunately, this trend of oppression has also made its way to the Celestial Church of Christ United Kingdom Diocese. Those who opposed the emergence of Reverend EMF Oshoffa in 2002 have demonstrated the negative effects of power. Despite being granted mercy and pardon, these individuals have solely focused on positions of authority in the Church. There was a campaign against Reverend EMF Oshoffa when he resumed his pastoral duties. The purpose of this campaign was to destroy the legacy of dedicated members who had tirelessly worked to establish the Celestial Church of Christ in the United Kingdom.
After a series of meetings and letters of apology, the group of oppressors was given the opportunity to return to the main stream. However, this return has resulted in more discord and a misunderstanding of the church’s interests and values in the United Kingdom. They failed to recognize the progress and growth of the Church, instead prioritizing their own thirst for authority.
It is crucial to acknowledge and address these oppressive tactics that hinder the growth and unity of organizations and religious institutions. By standing up against such practices, we can ensure that the true purpose and message of our faith are not overshadowed by the selfish ambitions of a few.
The effort to rebuild unity began when some progressive shepherds and Church workers decided to uphold the principles of respect, truth, and justice. This movement has rekindled an atmosphere of openness, which the oppressors perceive as a threat to their hidden agenda. In response, the regressive oppressors launched a dilatory plan to silence the voice of restoration. Their failed plan involved using unpopular ranting blogger to tarnish the good names of innocent church members.
God does not support oppression in any way. The servant of God who established the Church through divine revelation from the Holy Spirit never endorsed any form of oppression. The mandate to restore the United Kingdom Diocese has begun, and no amount of threats, whether from law enforcement agencies or spiritual attacks will hinder the process of rebuilding, restoring, and restructuring the United Kingdom Diocese.
Every member of the Celestial Church in the United Kingdom is eagerly awaiting the arrival of our Pastor, his Eminence Rev EMF Oshoffa who will determine the future of the Diocese.
During various discussions, the Pastor has acknowledged receiving numerous complaints regarding the Head of Diocese (MSE Amos Fatusin). The Pastor will have ample opportunity to finalize the process of rebuilding, restoring, and restructuring the United Kingdom when he visits the country in September 2023.
