Once we acknowledge the lack of preparedness in our church administration management, Only then will we begin to witness a transformation of thoughts and ideals. However, if we continue to pretend that all is well within the administrative structure of the church, we will only strengthen our court cases and further establish divisions in leadership. This will result in the legends and children of shepherds, who have tirelessly worked for the development of our church, seeking financial assistance from the general public due to the fear instilled in our hearts, preventing us from expressing our observations regarding the administration’s shortcomings.
It is an undeniable fact that each department of the church is currently facing challenges beyond their imagination. The church authority only takes action when members demand for such and the lack of preparedness for the future has crushed many dreams within our church. Personal interests have overridden the collective interests of the church, allowing certain leaders to occupy positions that do not rightfully belong to them.
The authority neglects the needs of veteran shepherds and musicians in the church, as well as the children of late Pastors and Elders in their administrative plan. The failed system also offers no hope for the shepherds currently working in various parishes. This has led to shepherds constructing worship centers without adhering to the provisions outlined in the Church Constitution, which require them to submit relevant documents of such building to the authority.
In order to rectify these issues and create a more efficient and inclusive church administration, it is imperative that we openly acknowledge the lack of preparedness and advocate for a comprehensive restructuring. This will not only address the challenges faced by each department but also ensure that the interests of the church as a whole are prioritized. By doing so, we can foster a sense of unity and progress within our church community.
The only music apostle in our Church has sought assistance for a better life from Alagba Gabriel. He felt comfortable reaching out for help outside the jurisdiction of the Church authority, as they have never implemented any policies to fulfill the commitments made from the legends of the church in their administration.
Evang Remi Olabimiji remains one of the few veteran Gospel musicians in our Church who continuously represent the symbol of Celestial music. He has publicly sought assistance for the survival of his life.
The impact of Alagba Gabriel assistance was highly commendable, as he raised over 6 Million Naira for Evang Steve Pelemo, who also represents the identification of Celestial music. However, this new trend of certain old members seeking financial assistance from outsiders will continue to expose the Church authority to court of public opinion where members will demand for accountability for their monthly return & Anointment fee.
The Welfare Committee needs to be rearranged. The Committee should establish a framework where legends and children’s of previous Pastors can see the genuineness from the Church authority, rather than engaging in pointless arguments as if everything is well in the Church. The Committee must consist of visionaries and philanthropists who will utilize their wealth and influence to uplift the less privileged within the Church. We must publicly advocate for a proper restructuring that accommodates modern methods of managing a church system.

ReplyDeleteMany Leaders in the church has suggested various welfare packages for Shepherds and Legends in the church, this discussion stated during the time of Pastor Bada, but lack of commitment and negligence that is affecting all areas of our great church persists, we are only aware of those that are coming out now to seek for Help, Many Shepherds are in various parishes with sickness and other diplorable conditions, many widows of our Shepherds are suffering with their children without any attention from any quarters. I pray there will be quick intervention to solve these problems so that our dirty linients will no longer be wash openly.
