We the concerned Shepherds and Church workers in the United Kingdom Diocese under the auspices of Restoration Group held a virtual meeting on Saturday, 10th June, 2023 amidst the turmoil bedevilling the Diocese through the crass leadership style and recalcitrant posture of the Head of Diocese to honourably provide account of his stewardship and excuse himself from the rein of authority in order to save the Diocese from imminent disintegration.
It is worthy of note that a total number of Thirty-Five Shepherds in the Diocese joined the meeting virtually, deliberations were robust and insight towards the resolution of the impasse occasioned by the shoddy and manipulative antics of M/S/E Amos Fatusin in the administration of the Diocese. The meeting after exhaustive deliberations resolved as follows;
i. It is on record that a meeting of relevant stakeholders of the group held on Saturday, 27th May, 2023 deliberated extensively on the administration of M/S/E Fatusin since his assumption of office as the Head of UK Diocese. The meeting chronicles the gory tales of maltreatment, polarisation, discrimination, high-handedness, and financial recklessness, which he had visited on the Diocese over the years. The concerned Celestians reasoned that it was expedient to inform the Pastor on the current happenings in the Diocese, hence, a formal letter denouncing the leadership of M/S/E Fatusin was written at the instance of all members of the group to His Eminence, Rev Pastor E.M.F. Oschoffa.
ii.A delegation from the group delivered the letter to the Pastor at his residence in Port- Novo, Benin Republic. The Pastor wholeheartedly received the delegation with great enthusiasm and promised that all allegations/ requests stated in the letter would be considered before his visit to the Diocese in September 2023. While we await the final verdict of the Pastor on the issue, we have foreclosed further communication and dealings with the Head of Diocese forthwith.
iii.Consequent upon the submission of the letter to the Pastor, the delegation on behalf of the group expressed their dissatisfaction with the shady support enjoyed by M/S/E Fatusin from some unscrupulous aides of the Pastor as well as the connivance/unholy alliance in forging official documents such as letter of extension of tenure under the pretence that same emanated from the Pastor. The delegation in clear terms emphasized that in view of the obnoxious practices of M/S/E Fatusin which was bereft of exemplary leadership, the group would cease further payment of monthly returns (Ipin) through him henceforth. Going forward, all shepherds under the group would remit monthly returns directly to the coffers of the Church for sake of probity and transparency. We wish to let you know that His Eminence has given us his consent for all returns to be made directly to Ketu henceforth.
iv. It was unanimously agreed by all members of the group that M/S/E Fatusin and his cohorts are not welcome at any of their Parishes. It is a fact that the group has publicly expressed a VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE in his leadership of CCC United Kingdom Diocese, hence will not welcome his visits to the concerned parishes.
The struggle to enthroned liberty, social justice, fairness, and equity in the administration of the Diocese has commenced in earnest. The need to sanitise UK administration is of utmost importance, and the need to bring to an end his tyranical rule.
We also use this medium to urge UK shepherds to join in bringing the administration of UK Diocese in line with UK Laws governing charitable organisations before we are all tainted with illegalities that may lead to investigations by the Police and Charity Commission.
Failure to take action in steadying the administration may lead to CCC being proscribed.
Thank you all, and God bless.
