In a viral video, it's was reported that a white garment Church was burnt down in Lagos over a human part found.
CRC-MEDIA reached out to the Parish Shepherd, Prophet Aso, and Secretary of the Parish, which was burnt down.
It was reported that last night during the New Moon service, the Parish reached out to a popular hausa man who helped in removing waste from the soakaway in the area. The hausa man has been doing the job for some years back in the area.
In preparation for the upcoming juvenile harvest Thanksgiving, the Parish consulted him to help them pack their soakaway. The hausa man was said to always pour some chemicals into the soakaway before packing them out.
In the process of doing this around 1:00am on Friday 2nd of June 2023, during the New Moon service. The hausa man fell into the soakaway and was not found. The assistant Shepherd of the Parish, who was there to supervise, immediately tried to assist the man, himself fell into the soakaway, and both of them were not found.
This shut down the service and threw the Church into dilemma. Immediately, everyone started helping, and the two gentlemen were rescued out. The Assistant Shepherd was rushed to the hospital, but the hausa man body was brought out dead.
The case was immediately reported to the Nigerian Police Station at Ajiwe and Lagbasa Police Station by the Choir Master, the Parish Secretary and another elder.
The assistant Shepherd is still at the hospital in a critical condition. He was reported to be an ulcer patient before the accident.
At the news of the death of the Hausa man, all his fellow hausa man and comrade Okada riders stormed the Parish and started the juggle justice ⚖️ attacking the members, beating everyone, destroying the Church property and burning it down.
The Secretary of the Parish was beating to stupor. He is receiving treatment as we speak.
The Shepherd and some elders invited the Nigeria Police to the Church, but they couldn't stop the angry youth and Okada riders in the attack.
The death body of the contractor is intact. There was no body part removed and no evidence of ritual activities or body part in the Church.
At present, the situation is calm, the Church is totally destroyed, and the Shepherd Prophet Aso is stabbed seriously by the Abokis.
May God grant the soul of the departed an external rest. May God heal the assistant Shepherd.
May peace return to CCC Overcomers Parish and may peace return to Oke Ira Nla community in Lagos.
Note: Always consult the appropriate waste disposal management company of the State in disposing of your waste. Waste disposal should be done in the daytime and not midnight for safety reasons.
