SOBER REFLECTION; THE VOICE FROM THE PICTURE.
DEATH is inevitable, every living element created by God must die. The bible teaching on the significance of God's power to decide when every living soul would leave the earth. In Christianity, the concept of death is tied to the death of Jesus Christ, Christians typically believe that Jesus sacrificed himself to pay for the sins of mankind and those who believe in him will be forgiven of their sins and gain eternal life in heaven.
On the 22nd of January 2023, the number (5) man in our Church hierarchy in person of Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose was announced to have left the world. Before his demise he received brief treatment at Kings County Hospital New York USA before returning to Nigeria November 2022. He died on Sunday, 22nd January 2023, at Marcelle Ruth hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Church authority set up a Committee to oversee, plan & take charge of the burial arrangements of the departed soul, a lot of ideas were introduced; the burial caught the attention of Celestian members who joined in paying their respect to late Most Superior Evangelist Ajose. The city of Badagry welcomed thousands of Celestian members to honor one of their son who served the Church for years.
According to the basic ordinance of the Church, a full scale doctrinal practice on burial was observed during the exercise, the senior clergies actively involved themselves with the practice given to the church through his Saint Papa SBJ Oshoffa. Some Elders stood to view the body of the departed soul with sober reflection. The picture above highlighted the view of Individualism when we see a died body.
A shutterbug school of taught would understand the reaction of the few Elders who viewed the body of M/S/E Ajose in his casket.
The view of M/S/E Ajao showed the aftermath of whosoever cares to understand; M/S/E Ajao showed with the mind set that “Ajose: stand up”.
The expression of M/S/E Olarinde definitely depicted “truly life is nothing”.
M/S/E Akindoyin stood with turning face to avoid keeping the memory of the view in his heart.
V/S/E Tosho Oshoffa became skeptical thinking with heavy mind that “is this really Baba Ajose”.
It is obvious that Most Superior Evangelist Ajose had left the stage of events, he would report to He who sent him, while the question is “what will be the aftermath of everything that happened”.
All the Pastor's representatives was fully present during the burial, the central choir sang with full conducting instructions from A/V/S/E (Dr) Olasunkanmi, while the Prophet/Prophetess under the supervision of V/S/E Jerry organized a well coordinated programme for him. The fact remains that, within some months the name of Most Superior Evangelist Ajose will not appear on various harvest invitation cards/programmes of harvest again.
The Pastor will appoint another person to occupy his position, then we would return to hymn (551) ki la o wi, ki la o so, ijo mimo ki la o so, gbati baba ba pe wa o, pe omo siwo ko ma bo, wa siro ise owo re… …. …
